சீஷான் தொடக்கப்பள்ளியில் தமிழ் மாணவர்களின் தமிழ்மொழி வளர்ச்சிக்கும் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கும் பலதரப்பட்ட நடவடிக்கைகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்படுகின்றன. அவை யாவும் மாணவர்கள் தமிழ்மொழியின் மீது ஆர்வம் காட்டிக் கற்றுக்கொள்ள ஊக்குவிக்கும் என்ற நோக்கத்தோடு தயாரிக்கப்பட்டு நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. இவற்றின் விளைவாகத் தமிழ் மாணவர்கள் வகுப்பில் மட்டுமின்றி, தங்களது அன்றாட வாழ்க்கையிலும் தமிழ்மொழியைத் தயக்கமின்றியும் தன்னம்பிக்கையுடனும் பேசுவார்கள் என்று திடமாக நம்புகிறோம்.

ஆர்வமூட்டும் கற்றல் நடவடிக்கைகள்

மாணவர்களின் கேட்டல், பேசுதல், படித்தல், எழுதுதல் ஆகிய அடிப்படை மொழித்திறன்களோடு இருவழிக் கருத்துப்பரிமாற்றத் திறன்களும் பல்வேறு நடவடிக்கைகளின் மூலம் கற்பிக்கப்படுகின்றன.

போட்டிகள்

நம் மாணவர்கள் பலதரப்பட்ட போட்டிகளில் பங்குபெற ஊக்குவிக்கப்படுகின்றனர். அவர்கள் பள்ளிக்கூடத்தில், சமூக மன்றங்களில் மற்றும் தேசிய அளவிலான தமிழ்ப்போட்டிகளில் பங்குபெறுவதால் தங்கள் தன்னம்பிக்கையை வளர்த்துக்கொள்வதோடு தமிழ்மொழி மீதான பற்றையும் மொழிவளத்தையும் வளர்த்துக்கொள்கின்றனர்.
